I'd be shocked if any Harrison fight was on PPV.

He was outboxed, outworked, outpunched - basically outclassed - by Michael Sprott, barring that lucky punch in the 12th.

He isn't getting a shot at the Klitschko brothers, unless they have turned into frauds overnight.

Serious contender  - the man looks **** scared in the ring, and even worse when someone throws a punch back. He should just retire and stop polluting the air.

"They recognise he is now a serious contender and know a fight with him could make them serious money, especially as we have a near guarantee from Sky that the fight will be shown on pay-per view..."

    this i agree with ^^

but, it wouldnt surprise me what goes on ppv these days

and as a european champ, well, on paper it doesnt look that bad if he got a world title shot...

in reality...in my opinion...it was a disgraceful european title fight, both far too poor to have a european title associated with them....but, it is what it is i suppose....

Harrison nor Sprott were even in the WBC's top 40. I know this is the WBC but surely they can't sanction a title fight off the back of Friday's result. How can Hearn even talk of this unless he knows everything's not what it seems. If this turns out to be true then who can blame any tv company turning its back on boxing.

Also.... this isn't anything to do with the fact that he'd have to face Dimitrenko next, is it?

He's gonna have a hard job lining up a selection of featherfisted, glass jawed opponents to feast on and still get a shot at the world title, even with the division being as bad as it is.

Hopefully Sprott gets a 3rd fight and finishes the job.

im not a harrison fan although there was nothing lucky about the punch he landed mate.even if he'd lost he would have went up in my estimation as it was very clear he'd injured himself and was struggling big time

Audley is a big household name, probably more well known than Haye, this fight would capture the imagination of the public, would do good ppv sales imo.

    er...so's henry cooper...
with respect....whats your point ?....i know you say it would do good ppv, but is that what we should be looking at to give a world title fight credibility...

Before Haye fought Valuev I would have agreed with you, I'd say Haye is more well-known now though.
