Silva had a 90 foot reach advantage, don't blame Maia for this you twat. Maia was coming forward, thats why his face was mangled. If he didn't we would have seen two guys standing in their corners for five rounds!

anderson is being put into matchups against some ordinary strikers. this i think is why anderson was foolin maia. he feels limited in the ufc. come on maia only started to engage when anderson was unfocused. don't act like maia was swinging from the opening round trying to win. anderson isn't fighting live guys. see bj penn has an aura similar to that of anderson, but the lower weight classes offer better well rounded and skilled guys.

Why didn't Silva just come right after Maia aggressively and KO him right away? We all know he's the best striker in the game and yet he pounded his chest, mocking Maia because he won't come after him?
It's actually quite cowardly since he was treating Maia with total contempt, but doing very little to actually prove Maia was as unworthy to be in the cage with him as we're supposed to believe he was.

Mai would've only taken more punishment by rushing forward on a fighter like Silva. Silva should have just finished him off, rather than acting like the biggest piece of **** in the history of any fighting organization. Silva, as great as he is, is a disgrace.

Really , I thought the Penn fight wasnt so good , Penn did nothing and was useless . Glad there is a new champ.

first two rounds of silva fight made the night , but then Silva ruined the night by not finishing him. Frustrating

The hole night of fights sucked . Glad I saw the fight in a strip bar, and I paid 4 dollars at the door. and 41 $ on beer

The press conference and Anderson's refusal to accept he did anything wrong was embarassing.

Dana says Silva doesn't deserve to fight a guy like GSP! That fight isn't gonna happen. haha good. I think Dana needs to get Mousasi in to the UFC and punish Silva by making that fight, or get Belfort back asap.

Maia was scared to do **** all for the first 3 rounds, only reason his face was mangled was from a flying knee that happened when Silva was coming forward. The shot broke his nose and basically did all the damage to his face.

Silva was winning the fight its all on Maia to take the belt by going out on his shield or getting lucky.

Silva was boring, yet he taunted the guy right to his face with his hands down and Maia wouldnt do ****.

I don't know..but it was a disgrace. And I like Silva. Belfort at the age of 22 probably would have been able to smash Silva given the fact that when Vitor was yound and undefeated he was a beast! Silva all around is a beast but no where near as explosive as a prime Vitor. At this time Silva would dismantle Vitor.

Oh boo hoo. It's a ****ing fight. Deal with it and punch him in the face. Maia wasn't interested until the 5th round but by then his nose and eye were busted. Even then he only swung a little bit. Maia didn't come to fight and for 3 rounds he was taunted but he still didn't want to get involved.
