Don't get hung up trying to figrue out motives. The bottom line is that it's a step in the right direction, no matter what.

After watching 24/7 and just how intense this random drug testing is, I can see how it could hamper training leading up to a fight. Manny was probably smart to refuse to that crap, the last thing you need is two guys following you around all day when you're trying to train for a big fight.

    Thoughts?

Ehhhhh, I would be annoyed by it if I knew I was clean and it was a waste of time.

Don't the nevada commission test urine anyway? The blood testing is the only thing different and that's only a few minutes every few days.

Team Mayweather agreed to have the same people the do the testing for The NFL to test for the proposed fight as suggested by Arum. It still would've been random, but not as intense as the USADA. Team Pac turned that down as well. Regardless, those guys aren't hampering training. They sit to the side and wait until training is over before collecting any samples. The most annoying part is probably having to let them know your whereabouts all the time and having to check with them before ingesting any type of medicine or supplement.

Yet they probably have a 10 man camera team following them around every second?

I just wonder, in all of curiousity...

How would the majority of pac fans feel if tomorrow he outright said he was taking PEDs...

Would they be honourable enough to eat crow, or vanish into thin air?:huh

On the flip side, if all of Floyd's accusations were wrong and this was proven, would the fans try to digress the rumours with the same vigor.

The point I am making is that vehemently defending or accusing someone without proof of either or can be pretty faulty.. not to mention foolish.

I choose to reserve judgement on Pacman until eveidence is brought up which FULLY proves or disproves the PED accusations. However, trying to implement more thorough testing at the expense of the fighters (even if Floyd is choosing the wrong TYPE of testing) is a pretty noble idea.

It makes me want to buy Floyd/Mosely pay per view more since they put that little bit more sacrifice and dedication into this fight for the fans, even if they were unhappy about it.

By the way, I don't really defend or like either Floyd or Shane...

    Stopped reading right there.

Whatever the reasoning behind this policy being instigated by Mayweather, the sooner boxing's officialdom adopts this policy - random blood testing - the better.

Maybe the way they emphasized the testing on the episode made it seem more like a distraction than it really is, but I think I could do without all of that leading up to a fight. Do two white guys usually sit in at your house and wait for intervals to take a ****?

What are you talking about emmanuel has his 20 boyfriends with him whenever he's in training camp anyways? It's not like another 2 are going to bother him.

He can fight in front of thousands but he can't mentally handle having two guys around for a bit?

Who cares? That's no reason to not have the fight. And as someone already pointed out, there would already be cameramen following both guys around everywhere for several weeks for the 24/7.
