I like Berto, he's got great explosive power and some good skills. However, whenever this guy comes in close or near a clinch...he DOESN'T TUCK HIS CHIN!!! If anything, he almost parades it over his opponent, ASKING for an uppercut or some haymaker to catch him and knock him cold. It's a big flaw, IMO, and someone like Mosley, Pac and PBF, ALL having good uppercuts of their own, will really hurt Berto with it.
Thought the same thing myself watching the fight - he kept complaining about rabbit punches but actually the issue was that he kept offering the side of his head as a target. He's a nice kid but I can't see him beating any of the above 3.
Berto is a flawed fighter Ive always said that about him He lacks defense and his chin is a question mark,He got somewhat stunned By featherfisted Collazo in the very first round of their fight If that was Mosley yesterday,he wouldve gave him a beating I feel right now,even Margarito without his illegal handwraps would stop Berto
I thought it was more of what cosme rivera did to him. If he is getting dropped by journeyman, elite ww are gonna kill him.
