No, because it is mandated by the millitary itself. However, if it is just another soldier of the same or lesser rank asking another soldier to have blood drawn, then the later can always refuse.

    Best post of the day.

The only conclusion/finality on this issue will come the day after the fight (if the fight happens at all).

"Some fighters, including Floyd have been known to inject numbing medicine into their hands just prior to a fight."

    ......
    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/more_sport/article3019074.ece

Kizer confirmed yesterday that lidocaine is banned for use by boxers within a week of a bout. “If lidocaine is injected,” he said, “the pain receptors in the boxer may not work and he may not know if he is hurt.” He also confirmed that lidocaine would be tested for after the bout, at the Quest Diagnostics laboratory in the city.
    ..............

Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director, Marc Ratner, revealed that this particular local anesthetic is normally expelled out of the body very quickly, thus implying that he did not believe the urinalysis would be problematic for *********.

So basically you are spouting information which is false.

NSAC, Wada, USADA all confirmed this substance to be LEGAL.

The FDA also has no bans on anything in Xylocaine making it legal.

Besides it being illegal the night of the fight, where's you proof it's banned in 49 other states?

Oh that's right. It's not. You've just been spouting bull**** you saw a blogger post.

Week of the bout, night of.

No difference really, most boxers have stopped their training that would require Xylocaine injection.

i loved seeing the testing. those guys waited for hours to get what they wanted to make sure the boxer isn't cheating. great for boxing. how can boxing fans go against this? obviously it hasn't been weakening floyd, he was out that night being himself dancing for his charity.

I truly believe Pac when he says he is clean, just by judging his character and how sincere he is.

But if he were taking PED, then I would lose a lot of respect for Pac and he will not be an ATG in my books. And oh, his political career would be ruined as well :yep

Exaaaactly. Floyd claening the sport? Puuuhlease.

He is doing it primarily for himself, to give him all the advantage he can get. Anything else is purely coincidental.

Funny all these *****s being played by Floyd. Shows their level of intelligence. :tong

and then get your ass kicked in a fight because you felt weak in training???

its not only a drug test dummy....you have to fight afterwards....would you risk it??? i doubt it....

i also believe pac is clean...but sincerity? not to his wife he is....

testing in nevada is adequate...if not then ALL fighters are suspect then....including your favorite fighter....
