    Andy Lee is a quality boxer when he's on his game, but these spells of inactivity are killing his career. While American interest seems to be grinding to a halt, Irish interest in the shape of Peters and RTE is there and should be grasped with both hands. Lee should be nominated to box Darren Barker for the European belt, and I'm sure most boxing fans on these Islands would love this contest.

    No, he is a good boxer but not great. I'd love to see Lee Barker especially as we never saw dunne and the dustman

    They were close to getting Proska for Lee this has thrown a spanner in the works..

    in other news confirmed Katie Taylor to fight on the Lee Undercard :deal

    How about this for a back story.... Andy and Barker have history from back when Andy lived in the UK not sure of the ins and outs of this but i think its safe to say they arent friends.

    He did a demolish job on barker in the Olympic trials and in an Ireland-England international:hey

    carlos any reason why you didnt box in the worlds last year , i really think you could have won a medal , were you just sick of the amateur game ??

    already posted this on the brit forum but lee barker needs to be made asap i see barker going for it hard first 6 rounds then gassing badly and then lee koing him almost exacly like the ko in my avi in the 7th or 8th :good

    Got the press release for Limerick,No opponent for Andy yet which is worrying but a great undercard,Power/Waldron Timms/Sweeny we know,Andy Murray will be on as will Garcia and Perez, Colie Barret, Peter Mc Donagh versus Ciaran Healy big fight for his second outing and a new guy called Alan Donnellan must be the guy Ken Moore was talking about at the weekend.I was told Katie Taylor will be on it aswell but she has an injury so we'll see how that goes.
    The release was really just calling out Barker saying they fought before and Andy handled him easy etc etc.
    Good looking show am definetly heading down.

    Lee wants it by the sounds of it but barker is goin to duck him until englands great middleweight hope is exposed as a second tier hype job :deal
