I was half tempted to start a thread politely asking them to post their threads on the European page, given that many of them are so desperate to disassociate themselves with Britain :hey

 

It is good real dominance but i think its just a case of a fair few decent Brits coming through at a time when there is a dearth of talent in countires that traditionally fight for the belt ie France Spain Italy, Gemrany doesnt really contest it and similarly the Eastern Europeans seem to stay out apart from the odd Poles here and there so in summary yer its good British boxing has a lot of up and coming talent

i find it amazing the way the british fans claim the irish whenever they are doing well like when magee and mccloskey have won european titles or like the way mcguigan is always being claimed as being british even though he is from the rep. of ireland , but when an irish fighter like dudy not so well all of a sudden he is an " irish hype job " etc and never a british one

i have nothing against british fighters i like a lot of them like haye , froch and a few others

 

Nah posters on here are far above that.

I support many Irish fighters and do not rate a few others. I think most posters are the same. Sure the Irish lads like certain British posters and do not like certain other ones.

 

So you have a problem with us Brits supporting Irish fighters and treating them as one of our own? :-(

You cannot pigeon hole the british into one type, the same as you can't do that with the irish.
