Why I think Dirrell "SHOULD" be able to beat Abraham!

I had Froch win the fight but it was close. If Dirrel takes what he learned he can win. Dirrel can hit, he had Froch hurt bad in the later rounds. He can take a punch he went 12 with Froch and was hit. AAbraham is not very fast and may be off set if Dirrel uses alot of moving. If Dirrel fights a range fight he can out box him but it will not be easy it would be 12 rounds of hard work and would need to be flawless. If he stands and trades or leavs himself open he will get cracked. Abraham has been out boxed before but always came on late. Taylor was a great boxer but he is not as fast or have the gas tank of Dirrel. He also got away from his game and fought his opponents fight. If Dirrel has a smart plan and sticks to it he can win.

doubt it. Abraham is the truth.

    Too much defense with offense.
He blocks everything then bam one hit and you are usually out or stumbling around.
He is also a great finisher.

I wouldn't be suprised if Dirrell beats Abraham. It's a pick em in my opinion but I think aafter an early lead, Abraham catches up with him.

I love Dirrell here man but I must contest to this part of the thread. How come AA is not a heavy pressure fighter? The 5'9'' tall Armenian is a tank and power punches in bunches when you take a rest for a breath. Look closely into his fights and the Taylor affair. Sure he starts slow but he really breaks his opponents' defense with big BIG punches in packages. Taylor, for instance, never got close enough cause he could get out of position and counter power punched like it came to happen in the last seconds.

Second thing, Dirrell may and should use all space of the 20 by 20 ring but he keeps those arms down and feints back so it's pretty dangerous. Either he's gonna move all night long and score some left hooks late like against Froch or he's goona risk it. Remember when he got nailed by Froch along the ropes after hitting him first in the corner - Abraham hits harder. I suppose Ward's approach is much smarter - leads with the jab as a range finder, closes the distance and capitalizes on timing and counter moves.

Dirrell uses a considerable amount of clinching, but he pretty much sucks at it. He comes in with his hands down low and just makes a wild grab. If he does that against Abraham, he'll catch one of these neat little straight right hands right on the chin. As much as I dislike Abraham, I do love that punch.

Abraham likes to fight at distance and also takes alot of breaks. I want to see him in a fight where he has to use energy constantly. If he has to chase dirrell then AA will have some serious problems with keeping himself from not being caught. I've seen AA hurt and doing all he can to grab his opponent to get he head back together. His defense is good when he's on defense but his defense isn't all that good when he's coming at someone. I see many roads this fight can take and it's going to be on dirrell to pick one. The think that dirrell shouldn't do is box at punchers distance. AA will set him up with those decoy shots leading to bombs on the 2nd, 3rd and forth shot. Dirrell should smother or popshot but don't sit at punching distance. I think dirrell can fight very well in close though most don't talk about it. If AA has to chase dirrell then he is falling into a trap because dirrell is so sharp and AA's defense is only good when he's being defensive.

AA does set people up beautifully for that straight shot. The same one that started the miranda beating and ended taylor was a thing of beauty. Especially seeing that he knocked taylors gloves to the side with the left hook to have an opening for the straight right down the pipe.
