I'd bet on Silva kicking the **** out of him. The gap in skill between these two fighters is HUGE! I know Carwin is much bigger, yes, but look what a 225lb Couture was able to do against Lesnar's big ass for a short period. If Silva comes in around 225lbs, Carwin gets blasted out.
this post smells of MMAth I'm not saying carwin would definitely win, but he has a chance, we've never seen anderson fight anyone who punches nearly as hard as carwin, anderson also doesn's have the greatest takedown defence in the world either and carwin is a very good wrestler and strong as hell, if carwin takes him down I can see him pounding anderson out via gnp. edit: lesnar was also very inexperienced in MMA when he fought randy and his standup is inferior to carwin's.
It's not "MMAth" dude. I was just addressing the misconception, by many, that Carwin is SO BIG that he would just destroy Anderson due to size. I used Randy's bit of success against the "bigger then Carwin" Lesnar as some evidence to the contrary. I think Carwin is far too slow on his feet to avoid Andersons strikes. I actually think Carwin would be an easier fight for Anderson, then Shogun, Rampage, Machida, Belfort, Dos Santos, Cain, etc.

Silva didn't do well but Maia had no intention of engaging for 3 rounds. He didn't impress me at all.
I sorta agree with this. Instead of getting in front of the camera and going off on rants about his displeasure Dana should do something about his problem. I wouldn't mind seeing Silva fight for Strikeforce against guys like Mousasi, Diaz, Le, Henderson, maybe even Fedor.
