The mediterranean is not a continent. Greece is in Europe. It is part of the European Union, It uses the Euro for currency, its sports men and women take part in European competitions and if you check out a map you can quite clearly see that Greece is in the European region.

I'm going to Greece in a few weeks. I'm now excited to learn that this is not a European holiday as I assumed, but that I'll be visiting a whole new continent of 'mediterainian'. Unless France, Spain, Italy or Egypt are also in 'mediterainian' in which case I've already been there...
