Just making a point to counter some pretty dim observations.

It's not surprising, who doesn't want to be English?

There's a reason Raymond Domenech(a fool, but a fool with a valid point) called Ireland "England B".

I wouldn't call them that though, i'd call them "England C/D" personally.

my point was, andy townsend was born and raised in england, and claims his irishness through ancestry. it's just like "irish americans", who had maybe a great great grandfather who came over on a boat, end of the day you are american, deal with it.
I was born in scotland, lived there until i was two, then lived mainly in england, with a brief stint in spain. I have english parents, but despite my bith place i consider myself totally english.

Look some of the names I threw out there were just for the sake of playing devil's advocate. Most of the people I named had a legitimate claim to representing England. Just wanting to point out that nationality isn't limited to place of birth or ethnicity.
Anyway i've had two many of these arguements recently.

maybe it is, maybe it isn't, maybe go **** yourself.

    only joking kiddaaaa!

I am not sure what point i am really making to be honest, maybe i just dont like andy townsend much, with his big ****ing nose, and his irish ancestry, maybe i WANT irish ancestry too, maybe i am jealous:rasta

If i was irish i'd be shaking my head some cockney sounding fellow representing my country.

Beggars can't be choosers though i suppose.
