Ask me this question Why should Haye get 70/30 in his favor if he never been any usa networks and holds a paper belt that should really been given to wlad since he beat then "real" champion Chagaev?????
Look, I'm a Haye fan more than a Wlad or Vitali fan, but I think either Klit should have a 65/35 share here, at this stage. That is IF no rematch clauses or anything are proposed by the Klits. They have established themselves for years as the best so they deserve the majority share. They are the ones doing the calling out now though so who knows. Maybe they want Haye because he is already making **** loads of cash without them.
thanks for the insight Chef... great to have an insider on the forum! and damn, if he ever needs chess lessons (to say, beat LL and his brother), you can contact me! :rofl
60/40 Wlad kicks his ass. :good I don't care if Wlad is boring people to death or if the division is shallow, he's by far the best heavyweight right now, he has been knocking people out one after the other and has been cleaning out the division for years. He can't get 50/50 just because people think highly of Haye. 40% is more than enough money for the Hayemaker, when he has the chance to face the best HW in the world.
Yeah things are pretty damn good here actually Chef :good Hows tricks in team WALDO then? Give the brothers my love next time you see them
I'd love to take part in this ridiculously optimistic conversation. But sorry, don't see it happening. Haye has absolutely no desire to fight a Klitschko. In fact, as soon as he got the WBA strap, all the trash talk stopped. He will be quite content making millions fighting the like of Harrison and Valuev and maybe Chagaev in the UK.
It's a good point, but what I'm arguing for is what would be necessary to get this fight to go ahead. Your line of reasoning is one reason for Haye to refuse the fight, as he'd make a lot more money by fighting to build more of a name in America first. Even without doing that, a lot of boxing fans still know who he is. At this point it's better to be unscreened and still hyped than screened and found boring (box-office-wise).
You could make the same 'paper belt' claims about all the belts WALDO holds too, the fighters make the fight, not the belts. Apart from the 2 brothers fighting this is the most interesting matchup available in the division, it's a unification match therefore the purse should be split evenly in my opinion. 70-30 was just me trying to wind Chef up, in case you didn't get it.
I need it. Im so bad Wlad wont play agaist me anymore. He beat me in 7 moves last time we played. He looked up and said.."Dude, You suck"
Def should be favored for Wlad b/c he's earned it already for fighting so much at the heavyweight level. Plus he's defended all his belts for over 5 years.
