Correct. The illegal move came first from Dirrell all night long. And on the occasions Dirrell was unable to run away from Froch he simply fell to the canvas(4-5 times) for which the referee should have warned him, and then later began to start counting these falls to the canvas as a knockdown. Dirrell's 'performance' that night was disgraceful and to cover up this unpalatable truth, his supporters focus on this myth of a 'robbery' in what was a very close fight
I dunno what it is but I really like Froch. Sometimes in his interviews I wonder if he's purposely trying to be David Brent with the dry wit or if he genuinely is Brent. Seems like an ok fella though.
I'm puzzled why Froch is so hated (except being a Brit will likely cause some problems for American fans anyway). The guy is far from arrogant, he's merely confident. There's a huge difference for belittling other to gain confidence (ala Floyd and RJJ), and having confidence. If Froch was such a nasty character, who would hate on Pascal and Taylor too, not to mention kessler of even abraham. I doubt it will happen...
Dirrell is a weasel and his performance versus Froch was embarrassing. He clearly had all the physical skills to beat Froch yet his ***** mindset couldn't do it. It would have been a shame for the sport if Dirrell had of won the title fighting like that. Like Froch said "He tried to steal my title!"
I enjoy Froch, he's a jerkoff and fights like a hardass. **** boxing, he just goes in there and tries to hit you in the face as many times as possible. :good
