He has got to be the most overrated fighter in history. He is ranked anywhwere bewtween top 30 all through top 5 and even GOAT by some!!!!!!!

    Really??? For what now???!!!

People tend to turn a blind eye on some of the things he does, that OTHER fighters wouldn't get a pass on...

    Examples:

From 126 - 135 he was the bigger guy most if not all of the time.

People like Williams, Margarito, Cotto @ 140, ODLH, Hopkins @ 160, all get **** for being the bigger guy against some of their best wins. But Pac gets a pass??? :think

Pac has fought a bunch of fighters on their way out, or clearly past their best, and gets FULL credit. Fighters like Calzaghe, Holmes, Lewis, Camacho, DLH, don't nearly get as much credit for fighting legends who were clearly past their best.

Pac since moving up from 130, has but ONCE fought the man in each division. At 135 he avoided the best, excuse was he was testing the waters, at 147 he avoided the best, made Cotto come in at the 145 for the 147 strap. His opponents have been carefully picked since he got a gift against Marquez.

He gets a pass over things other fighters would get lynched for. But I'm here to shine the light, and help our fellow *******s see it, maybe, just maybe they can be normal fight fans one day.

People think he's doing all this on physical attributes but that's crazy. Many of the world's best trainers will attest that just speed and power don't win fights.

He'll get beat by a slick boxer type. There is a reason why he only fights guys who fight face to face. Guys like Floyd and Guzman, he will avoid until kingdom come.

    Also...

Agapito Sanchez: Was taking Pac to school, the same Agapito that was schooled by Barrera and Marquez prior to Sanchez fighting Pac.

A Prime Barrera was able to beat him, and school him when Agapito was prime, while Pac went life and death with him and should have lost the fight.

Erik Morales: was on his last leg and still took Pac to school, beat him at his own game. A last hurrah for the aging warrior.

A prime Barrera arguably beat a PRIME morales twice, three times, depending on who you're talking to. But Pac needed to fight an older, beaten by Raheem, and Barrera, weight drained Morales before he could win.

Oscar Larios: went 12 rounds with Pac, but had been KTFO by Izzy and then Linares. Where was Pac's superiority there??

Juan Manuel Marquez: had two incredibly close fights with Chris John and MAB, but Pacquiao needed TWO gifts to avoid two more losses on his record.

JMM has won 16 out of the 24 rounds they've fought while Pac has won the remaining 8. Obviously JMM was the better fighter.

Point is Pac has been carefully manages since losing to JMM but awarded the win, and Pac has avoided the best yet, fighting fighters with handicaps yet gets full credit.

When you compare how he has done against opponents he has beat you will see others have done better, and when they were more primed than when Pac finally fought them.

For most of the Filipino boxing fans, that has always been the most important.

Even way before Pac arrived on to the scene.

People here don't really care if your not a name fighter, as long as you put on an exciting, explosive show.

That's how we love it, and that's how Pac patterned all his fights, and how he performed.

"If I'm not exciting the paying audience, I'm doing something wrong."

Honestly, his US/Euro/Latino fans (and haters) abroad are the ones who are so into his ATG and P4P rankings.

The guys back home just wanna see a good fight everytime.

Better than people think? He's the mega hype around right now, if anything, its the other way around. Hatton, OLD DLH and Cotto is impressive for him, but lets be real, PBF is a whole different story.

    r :rofl:rofl

But there is something very simple that Golden Boy can do to set an example. It involves the Golden Boy himself.

Oscar De La Hoya can show the world how a righteous PED-free fighter acts. In order to fully inform the public on the issues involved (and remove any hint of suspicion that he himself might not have clean hands)

    .
The same waiver should authorize all present and past NSAC personnel and any other person with knowledge of the situation to discuss the test results with any media representative who inquires about them.

’m talking about the possibility of something more.

Let me even suggest wording for the waiver that Oscar can make public and send to the Nevada State Athletic Commission:

“I, Oscar De La Hoya, hereby waive all right of confidentiality with regard to the past testing of my blood and urine for steroids and other performance enhancing drugs conducted by or on behalf of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. In that regard, I also authorize all present and past Nevada State Athletic Commission personnel and any other person with knowledge of the situation to speak openly with the media about such testing.”

To paraphrase: “C’mon, Oscar. If you have nothing to hide, then do it. It’s only a piece a paper. Just sign the waiver.”
