    He was also on Conan.

Because Germany doesn't do PPV, and history has shown that there is far more money in network television.

Wladimir is the bigger draw. He has averaged 20,000 fans at his fights or better for at least a decade, his fights are broadcast in 110 countries and average between 450-500 million viewers worldwide. In his "home" market of Germany he had 14 million viewers for his last fight, which is more than tuned in to watch the Masters in the US this year.

Haye has only had one fight where he personally was the draw that drew 20,000 people. PPV is also an example of market marginilization, so while Haye's PPV numbers were ok, the fact is that PPV cuts out most of the market.

Because there is more money in network television. The move to PPV and premium cable is ultimately what marginalized American boxing.

Of the customers who will PAY to view the fight........by far the majority will be paying to watch Haye.

The Klits are nowhere in the States.

How many people paid to watch the Johnson fight?.....Oh yeah, that's right :rofl

I wasn't aware you enjoyed paying to watch something that should be on network television. Look, boxing fans who brag about PPV numbers are really stupid. You should want fights on network television, not on PPV.

    I do, mate.

However.....back in the real world of negotiations for this fight, the question is relevant enough.

Ok tell me what makes more money in the US, boxing and MMA combined, or golf? The answer is golf, but I will let you look that up. The difference is network television vs PPV, golf is on network TV, and as slow and dull as it is it makes more money than boxing and MMA in the US, and well Britain, can ever hope to make.

This fight, if it happens, will most likely be PPV in America........so all this jive about network television is irrelevant.

Highly unlikely. It will be on regular HBO.

In terms of straight number of viewers, Wlad clearly beats Haye, as well as Mayweather, Mosley or any American boxer. So since that was the question you asked, Wlad.
