Needs to stop. Even I admit I am biased a lot of times towards mayweather, but I realize that as a fan of boxing, this has got to stop. I mean when am I going to see another floyd mayweather again. Yes his antics is ridicolous but you cant deny his talents. Same goes for pac. All this people nitpicking his resume (old fighters, past their prime) is stupid. You can do the same to every fighters resume. People tend to think that his doing all this from physical ability alone, disregarding the hardwork and improvement pac's been displaying. Also we have a lot of up and coming stars ( especially at 140 ), but I dont foresee any of them to reach pac/floyd status.

you are correct, but they need to get their asses in the ring and fight eachother, if mayweather gets past mosley.

I think they will. At the end of the day, oney will prevail...after all money is PBF's nickname....

I also think pac is just as greedy ( not in a bad way...i guess)

of course, in fact after both men acting like babies about a damn drug test, it showed that both pac and mayweather are more alike then people think

i agree with your post....i think pac is really good....exciting to watch...i went to his fights with hatton and cotto....ive yet to see floyd fight live in person....but im kind of biased towards floyd....i think its because i hate to see the way people talk about him(like hes committing a crime against them or boxing)...and i hate to see the way people treat him in interviews....basically working him up by not giving him any respect

anyways...i dunno if pacs that greedy...i think the fight falling through....and the potential that it might not get made in the future....lies on bob arum....to me...he is the problem

Both fighters are the best of the decade. They are fire and Ice, Night and Day, and Good vs Evil (just kidding) but you get where I'm going. These guys are complete opposites and everyone wants to see this fight take place.

They will fight in October or november for 60+ mil split.

    Offense vs. Defense.

If they will have another negotiation, hope it will push through this time. As a boxing fan, I can't stand another round of failed PAC-Floyd fight negotiation.

There hasn't been a mega-fight in history that 'must' happen as much as this one that was not made. If Floyd gets past Shane, this fight will get made. If Floyd manages to dominate Mosley, he'll take a 55-45 split of a $60M-$70M purse.

  13. All the haters and nutthuggers are the very reason that this fight needs to happen. They are so opposite in style and in attitude (from what we are able to see), these two guys polarize us as boxing fans. A few of us can see both sides (i'm constantly playing devil's advocate) but a lot of us buy into the hype way to hard and start hugging nuts.

I hate Floyd's whole Money persona, and how he ruthlessly spins things about his opponents (he still brings up Marquez vs. Urine to this day). And I love Pacquiao's humble "For the people" kind of attitude.

I love both their fighting styles (almost exactly opposite in every sense)... but I hate Pacquiao's unwillingness to just agree to the damn tests, and I hate that Pacman keeps trying to become a congressman...

So... both sides deserve some hate and some praise... But mostly they just need to FIGHT for ****'s sake.

U are right about the hatred needs to stop but alot of people hate these fighters especially Floyd becos he is polarizing. I am a Floyd fan but when he talks about his greatness being greater than all the other greats offcourse you are going to get a firestorm. There are a minority who hate him becos he is a successful black Athlete, those people will never stop hating or using disparaging comments like Gayweather etc cos they hate the man and not the Athlete.
Both of them did the boxing fraternity no favors when they balk out of their fight, I blame Manny solely for that cos like all professional Athlete you cannot walk out of a blood test for what ever reason its not just done, and his legacy will take a direct hit for that. Mayweather and his clan have alot to blame also for torpedoing the fight, how the hell do you say a man is on drugs when u have no evidence except that u have a hunch. Such nonsense like a A -side from Uncle Roger shows some deep level ignorance that its not worth going over.
Mayweather may be a great fighter but he comes across as a ***** even from people who want to see him succeed and therefore will have to live with the legacy he has built for himself. I will continue to support him cos I recognise talent when I see one but I understand some people strong dislike for the man especially when he disses other greats becos they had some defeats on their record.
