    Kevin Iole made note of this in one of his recent columns. It was a great class that has produced several championship caliber fighters. So who is the best boxer from the 2004 Olympics?

    Amir Khan

    Won silver at the age of just 17yr, only lost to the great Mario Kindelan in the finals.

    Won WBA World Light Welter Weight Title in 2009 at the age of 22yr, 3rd youngest British World Champion.

    Gamboa, Dirrell, Ward, Berto all have claims but this is all speculative as time will tell. I will get a better feel for khan after his fight with paulie and the following match, which should be his defining fight agianst a solid puncher (bradley, maidana, alexander). I think Khan has alot of good tools and natural ability. That shaky chin keeps me weary.

    I voted Andre Dirrell who I think has proven the most out of all the bunch. However, I believe both Yuriorkis Gamboa and Guillermo Rigondeux have the potential to have just as, or even better, careers than Dirrell.

    Pretty impressive. In terms of what they will achieve & h2h p4p, I think Rigo, Khan, Gamboa, Ward in that order.

    well after his last outting i voted andre dirrel it proved that he was able to outbox an absolute monstrous puncher and undefeated champion like abrham and he deserved to be int the ring with the best in the division

    I'm going Berto he has defended a major title 4 times since winning it against Miguel Rodriguez. His title defenses were against Steve Forbes(easy first defense), Luis Collazo(top 10 147 lbs fighter), Juan Urango(IBF jr. Welterweight belt holder, only loss to Ricky Hatton), and Carlos Quintana(only losses against Paul Williams and Miguel Cotto, former WBO strap holder)

    If we go just by talent i would have;
    Gamboa
    Rigo
    Ward

    By accomplishments:

    The three Andre's.
