If I had to put my money on it, I would go for Clottey. There's not much in Berto's arsenal or style that can score points or hurt Clottey. The fight will resemble Clottey-Judah, but maybe even worse because of the difference in experience level between Judah and Berto. Clottey will round by round get to Berto, and eventually wear him down. That's how I see the fight.

HMmmmmm..... Is there other Berto I don't know in the sport? Why would anyone even think hard about this one?? Clottey would definitely win this one convincingly, probably ko/tko.... ppl tend to judge him for his lack of being able to finish his big stage adversaries, but make no mistake, Berto is no Cotto, roidiao, or even Margacheato..... beating a very inactive Quintana and subpar showings against Urango and Collazo doesn't make u ready 4 a fighter like Clottey, imo.

Me too, so you could watch Berto collapse under Clottey's first hard shot. He can't take Quintana's shots, and you think he can stand up to Clottey? LOL

If he wasn't B rate he probably would've beat Margacheato and Baldo, Hell he barely beat Judah. Dude is no better than B-rate.

Honestly, Clottey hasn't proven to be any better than Collazo or Quintana.

some of you must be big clottey fans. you got some people predicting a ko victory for clottey. when was clottey ever a big puncher? he couldnt ko judah or corrales for that matter. further more, every time clottey stepped up in competition, he gets beat. lost to margo, lost to cotto and lost to pac. berto is at least comparable to margo and cotto. its a toss-up fight really, but slight edge goes to berto because he is the superior offensive fighter.

On your planet, maybe. Perhaps on bizarro world, bizarro-berto is comparable to bizarro-cotto.

    But not on THIS planet.

Clottey fought Margarito and Cotto to a standstill. Either of those guys would bitchslap Berto out of the ring in an embarassing mismatch, and so would Clottey. The Corrales that Clottey faced would KTFO Berto.

Oh? A fighter goes life and death with the two most elite fighters in his division - the champions of the division - then, because he doesn't let his hands go enough in the face of Manny's onslaught, the greatest fighter since SRL - suddenly, that means he's going to lose to a second rater like Berto? Berto, who went down like a sack of rocks against light hitting Quintana in the FIRST ROUND? Berto, who's NEVER looked good against an opponent of any quality? No chin, no defense, no stamina BERTO???

Seriously, this is a good demarcation point. If you think Berto is in Clottey's league as a fighter, then you're just not that bright, and you should probably stop trying to give your opinions on stuff. You should be reading more than typing.

you already embarrassed yourself by claiming that berto would get ktfo by corrales. so you can pretty much be quite.

Corrales landed plenty of clean shots against Clottey, and even at 147 Diego punches harder than Quintana. He would KTFO Berto. You just embarassed yourself by having to be told something you should already know.

Berto by UD. Clottey is straight garbage. He'd probably get the shits again.

Clottey hasn't done that to ANY top 10 fighter he has fought.

I repeat: Who has Clottey 'destroyed' lately?

He took Quintana's shots and knocked him out with basically one hand. Where the **** did you see him not being able to take those shots?
