Why does ricky hatton get so liitle respect?

    I cant understand why ricky hatton is constantly, refered to as someone who couldnt box or is a mediocre fighter, what is this all about, he is one of the best british fighters of all time, who was only ever beaten by argubally two of the greatest fighters of all time and no one else, he's also a top guy out of the ring so whats with all the hate? redone this thread here instead of lounge cant get 2 grips with what to post where arghhhhhhhh

    What's new. Once you're undefeated, you are the best thing. But once you're beaten, you are just one of the hyped up ones. You'll see come May 1st, the fraud will be exposed, and he'll just be regarded as one of the good boxers, but not one of the greats.

    It's more fun for most folk on here to slag fighters off and only focus on their weaknesses rather than look at them positively.

    Haye - glass jaw
    Manny - steriods
    Khan - glass jaw
    Mayweather - only fights small guys

    etc...

    yeah orite mate, he's better than any of the current 140 pounders in his prime no argument, which others are overrated and dont even start with david haye, **** me american heavyweights are overrated when they are referred to as boxers

    **** me get a grip, it was against the fighter not a country, you all hate floyd anyway, its a bit of banter americans are like our brother, we can call yous all we want, but if some other country does it, were the 1st to jump in and defend yous, chill guys we love yous realy:thumbsup

    heavyweights?? who gives a flying f*ck about the heavyweights??lol....David Haye wont get past the Klitch so it doesnt matter. hes the third or 4th best HW...

    Tim Bradley is beating the **** out of a prime Ricky Hatton. Weve seen what speed does to Hatton...

    Truth is, its because he lost to Floyd. Before the fight with Floyd Hatton was no only respected by he was vastly overrated by many. Once he lost to Floyd he became a bum.

    Now i can understand people not liking his style, and maybe ppl think he was no good, but calling him a ****ing arse hole, based on what you clown he's one of the nicest guys around in boxing, explain what you mean:huh
