I don't think Froch, will headbutt him that much. That would not go over well in Denmark.

But when getting hit like that, hitting while holding and headbutting is more effective for winning...

Coming from a guy who basically had the fight even going into the 11th round.

Only if he is allowed to use his head as a third fist.

He'll have to take more punishment than Ward did, but I think he can. Kessler is so robotic, fights in straight lines, has a leaky defense, and doesn't like being roughed up. Froch's size, strength, and will-power might be too much for Mikkel - especially after coming off such a bad loss.

Ok ladies, no more tears in this thread, if you please.

    Just answer the question.

Will Kessler get his ass handed to him by Froch, as was the case in the Ward fight?

Even after the Ward fight i was confident of a Kessler win against Froch, but i am starting to think Froch's relentless determination against a past prime version of Kessler who may be greatly lacking confidence will make for a tossup. Froch won't beat Kessler up like Ward did though, even if he wins.

I think Ward showed us Kessler does not like getting roughed up or fight a more physical style opponent. Froch, judging from the Ward fight is probably wondering if he should use the same tactics Ward fought, obviously not using his head as often as Ward did. I also think there will be a lot of infighting in this fight. If anything, if Kessler shows up like he did against calzaghe I don't see why he should not get a wide decision or a late TKO against Froch. Kessler has to come out aggressive early against Froch and establish and show his superior boxing skills. Looking forward to this fight.

I voted no, but to be fair Froch can knock him out cold with his arms and legs still in neuromuscular spasm.
