    Israel Vasquez vs Rafael Marquez

May 22nd two warriors will do battle once again, will it live up to the first 3 predecessors or are these fighters to broken to put on another epic performance? Also who are you taking to win this time around? If Marquez wins do they fight for a 5th time? Discuss!!

In all seriousness mate I think the fight will be sensational.

They are great fighters who like to scrap and have a major score to settle. It's the best trilogy of fights (in terms of consistency) I have ever seen and the reason they are fighting again is because it will be out of this world and an easy sell. Vasquez may be a little battle worn but the skill levels of both will be on display in high impact action.

I think it will live up to its predecessors, but it scares the **** out of me that these guys are going to do battle again. They might have name this fight "Brain Damage".

I think Marquez TKOs Vasquez this time....Vasquez seems to be the more damaged of the two.

I don't think so. Unfortunately I think both men have beaten a lot of the fight out of each other, especially since the three fights were fought so close together.

Great trilogy, I just watched them all again there, amazing!

I scored the 3rd fight a draw. If you remember the tenth, Marquez was deducted a point for a low blow but I felt Marquez also won the the round so I scored it 9-9. Is that correct or how would you score it given that situation?

Anyways, regardless, they were amazing fights but I think both should have retired after, they've given us enough.

I am looking foward to this fight and think it will be good. But I don't think it will be quite as good as the previous ones. Maybe it will be as good as the second one, which I think was the weakest of the trilogy but it won't be as good as the first and third. I don't think either guy has enough in them to push themselves like they did earlier. Not only were their first three fights brutal but both guys have been around for awhile and had their fair share of tough bouts before they met each other. Not to mention they aren't in their early 20s anymore. I just don't think they can dig as deep as they use to. Still, it should be a very good fight.

I'm not looking forward to it in the slightest. Rafa Marquez is one of my favourite fighters and he's clearly past his best, I have endless respect for Vazquez aswell and he's even worse off, he's shot to ****. I expect Marquez to win easily and I think it'll take the gloss off the trilogy, which is a shame because it's my all-time favourite trilogy, even ahead of Barrera-Morales. I'd like for both to retire, but at least they are fighting each other and not the likes of Gamboa or JuanMa, against who they could get seriously hurt at this stage of their careers.

I feel the same way. Not in that I have a favorite between the two, just that I don't think this fight is good for either fighter.

you all have good points at the very least we're getting a better fight than the expired hopkins vs jones and quite frankly i think this fight will be more competitive than the Mosley vs Mayweather that everyone is crying about.
