I hope he learns to handle that weight more naturally. When you gain 40 pounds in your 30's it's really hard to switch I imagine.

I don't consider it "gaining" so much. Adamek looks natural over 200, not drained.

His fists are huge. His legs are also impressive. Imo legs is where most of your punching power comes from. I'm curious to see what Shields and Bloodworth have changed in preparation for the Arreola fight. Clearly TA cannot get hit as much as he was getting hit against Estrada. IMO Arreola will try to blitz Adamek early on, which will actually be an oppurtunity for Adamek to knock the gargoyole out, with a clean counter right.

True. His calves look thick as hell too. Hands, Forearms, Legs, Neck all good indicators when looking to see how big a guy really is, more so than weight. Adamek looks big, his neck is literally twice as thick as the guy on the far left lol

Arreola is way bigger, but I give Adamek a good chance of beating anyway. We will soon find out.

In a recent tele-press conference Arreola says he will come in at no more then 240. Wonder how much truth is in that. Arreola camp has been raving about how "light" he will be comming into the Adamek fight all along.

I am getting nervous about this fight, its only a week away. I always get nervous pre-fight. I'm like Golota.

Still pretty confident in an Adamek win. I think skill, discipline, and speed, are better then power. Not to say Arreola isnt skilled, but I don't believe he is at the level Adamek is.

Adameks level of opposition to date has been much higher, and more demanding then Arreolas, per weight class. Only time Arreola really stepped up he got completely shut-out.

Arreola will be applying pressure the whole time, he goes forward, but does so one step at a time, its not quick movements. Adamek is used to moving about the ring at a decent pace, and is in the shape for it, while I doubt Arreola will be willing or even able to keep up that pace to catchup with him. Basically Adamek will hopefully have some time to move out of a corner or off the lines before Arreola gets there to corner him. Ahhh ****, we will see.

well, adamek with thick arms and legs, last time out was a tired, boring adamek. he can probably improve. hopefully he does. he will have to.

not sure why haye is such a target on these forums. haye carries the weight much better than adamek, and has retained his handspeed. we have yet to see if adamek can be as good up at heavyweight.

I'm also pretty nervous, this is going to be one of the hardest fights for Adamek and I really want to see him win, Arreola has just immense size and power, should be a great fight I can't wait!:bbb

Adamek moved up to HW aobut year and a half after Haye. He is a HW since only 6-7 months. He will improve constantly form fight to fight, as it was at CW.

But yeah, I agree that Haye is a more natural at this weight. Still I think Adamek has a good chance to beat him if they meet.

Haye looks more like a Versace underwear model than a real heavyweight. Adamek looks more the part. No disrespect to Haye, despite the fact he acted like a **** on several occassions.

Arreola is bullshitting to the media, which is nothing new. At the first press conference he didnt look his worst, although its hard to tell when you have a shirt. He was still a slob though. I am positive Arreola will not come in the 240s. 250 minimum and probably more.
