Glad to see common sense has prevailed.

It's not a box office fight in my opinion.

Hopefully Khan vs Paulie will be winging it's way to ITV :happy

I imagine Frank's taking quite a hit on this promotion.

He bid a substantial sum for the purse

Major hit? then again 25 000 x average ticket price £4 0= £1,000,000. He bid $515 000 for the purse so that only what £300 000? then i guess sky pay for the rights £100 000? at least plus merchandising programme sales advertising.........

Policing, security, venue hire, venue set up costs..... undercard fighters & Eurobums plus travel expenses....

I think he's sailing pretty close to the wind here - I'd have sent Mitchell to Australia for an extra 10% of the purse, the fight being in London makes little difference to the outcome in my opinion. Kevin has a fair shake at winning, nothing more nothing less.

Providing it sells 25,000 tickets at £40 a pop and provided Sky stump up £100k for television rights.

If the venue sells out then I'm sure Frank will do OK out of this.

And if Mitchell wins Frank will make quite a bit of money out of him in the long run.

Im sure venue hire isnt THAT much as im sure west ham would be delighted for 25 000 people buying drinks at upton with their current financial problems 50 000 pints at £4 a pop with a £3 profit thts £150 000

I think break even for Frank its worth the risk for the potential marketability of Mitchell in the future if he wins
