What fighters do you feel have one? State the reasons for your picks, please. No blatantly obvious choices.

I was gonna say George Costner who's had some mention here latley, but apart from the obvious ones (wins over Kid Gavilan, Ike Williams) I don't really know about a lot of the other guys on his resume.

Maybe some one else could make a decent argument for him?

Oscar De La Hoya's resume is often overrated.

He's beaten more champions, more former champions, won more titles than anyone of the last 20 years.

I think his resume if often not given the credit it deserves because unlike MOST fighters today he took on more P4P fighters than anyone else and lost a few.

But if you look closely you can see that his losses are:

    Trinidad- Highly contraversial (P4P fighter)
Mosley- Damn close fight SD (P4P fighter)
    Mosley II- Highly contraversial
Hopkins- Real Lt. HW vs small Jr. MW (Past Prime) (P4P fighter)
Mayweather- Close fight SD (Past Prime) (P4P fighter)
    Pacquiao- (Shot) (P4P fighter)

So out of his 6 losses:

THREE came when he was past his best and part time fighter.
    TWO highly Contraversial
    ONE SD in his prime

    And he's beat fighters like:

    Whitaker
    Chavez
    Vargas
    Camacho
    Campas
    Ruelas
    Hernandez
    Leija
    Quartey
    Molina
    Paez
    Gonzalez
    Castillejo
    Gatti
    Mayorga
    and more...

He's a 10 time world champion. 6 division champion. And has had 25+ title fights WON.

Who else can claim that in the last 20 years??

Bubi Scholz. Mostly because he is pretty much unknown.

Tony "The Tiger" Lopez- 3 time champ at SFW & LW! 9-5-1 record in title fights. Made out by many to be a crude slugger and game fighter with much heart and little skill to go along with it and survived off of hometown decisions!

1st title shot against Rocky Lockridge in a great war where Lopez would establish himself among the elite. he showed his fortuitude in coming back from a horrendous shot that dropped him in the 8th and regrouped to win a clear UD. John John Molina (controversial) Lopez scored what was to be the 1st of his controversial decision in taking a narrow UD over Molina. Held the title for 3 defenses (Lockridge & Jackson) before losing to Molina by TKO. 7 months later he would again emerge victorious over Molina in a controversial (But not hometown) decision. I feel that the KD of Molina sealed the fight for Lopez and had him by a point. I feel if Molina stuck to his corners plan to box and not get caught in a slugfest he could have won...but we are looking at did and not could or should. He would make 3 more defenses (along with a controversial draw to Brian Mitchell) before losing the title to Mitchell in a rematch. struggeling to make that weight Lopez moved up to light weight and after 3 build up fights stopped unbeaten Joey gamache for the WBA strap. he would win another controversial decision to thobela before dropping a rematch to him. After a couple of tune up fights he stopped greg haugen before getting a shot at JCC. Lopez recieved a cut to his eye in the 2nd and fought on gamely before the ref stopped it due to the severity of the cut. again showing his resiliancy he came back from multiple KD's against Pendleton and scored his own stoppage. This was the end of Lopez as major player.

    Notable wins:
    Lockridge X's 2
    Molina X's 2
    Tyrone Jackson
    Jorge Paez
    Gamache
    Haugen
    Thobela

    Draw: Brian Mitchell

    Losses:
    Molina (avenged)
    Mitchell
    Thobela
    Chavez

Tony lopez better than many give him credit for!!!!

As unskilled as he was, Mufusta Hamshop had a solid resume. Was twice sperately ranked the Ring Number 1 contender in a very very tough era.
