I think with all the other American Heavies out there Shannon in
shape is our best bet.He is not only the hardest hitter his personality
would get him allot of endorsements which would make the sport
wanna keep him at the top longer were he would get more breaks,
Kind of of like Oscar did for all those years.A true American heavy Weight
champion is the only way boxing is gonna survive and come back to
    its old self.

I heard he only had to throw one punch to get the KO last night.

hard to tell what shape he is from there surely?
I hope he gets in there with someone who can stand up to more than 1 right hand - hard to do with shannon i know but he needs rounds - hes always got a punch to be a threat to anyone klits included

Problem with Shannon Briggs is he's always fighting these bums and fighters you've never heard of.

Yeah i know, needs to step it up and fight someone with a pulse. He's getting up there in years, and asthma and weightlifting doesn't go too well together either. Still a dangerous fighter though, and would love to see him challenging for a title, especially against Wlad....

I think all the old 90s guys should fight an elimination tournament.
Throw in Holyfield, McCall, Tua, Briggs ..... the winner can fight Vitali, (who's just as old as Biggs or Tua).

Toney, Rahman, Botha and that bum Golota are other candidates for the senior tour.

I remember the night Shannon fought Dicky Ryan on my show in Ft.smith ...... we thought he was dead.Briggs has one punch power like nobody else in boxing.

They guy said he is gonna fight like once a month. Says he has got another fight in June. Hopefully, they'll get better this time.
