Fedor is a 205 pound fighter at heavyweight. I think any 200 pound plus man is can fight em all but Fedor is small and taking on giants. I think it works out better cos the small guys aren't strong enough, the medium guys not good enough and the big guys are simply big.

BJ makes a good point. It's been 5 years since anyone heard the final bell and that was Cro Cop who I believe fought a bit negatively. 2 of the 7 survivors against Fedor was Nog who back in the day could take a pounding.

    Ultimately, Fedor finishes fights.

Actually , it is debatable. (personally , i think it isn't or more precisely...there's nothing to debate about) , but to the average mma fan , it is.

Some people rank the likes of Anderson , Machida & GSP ahead of Emelianenko in the P4P top 10.

But what most people (boxing fans included) fail to realise is that the P4P argument was invented for fanboys. There's nothing scientific about it. The very concept of P4P is flawed and utterly ridiculous.

    This guy said it perfectly...

"This is one of the biggest problems with the P4P idea of blowing up a 150 pound guy to 250 pounds ... he'd get slower and less agile because of the extra weight he has to move. Strength goes up with cross section, weight goes up with volume ... ie weight increases faster than strength as size increases. "

(this guy alone proves that not all sherdoggers are braindead)

In other words , what fedor is capable of doing for his size...is already great.

The likes of Anderson , Gsp , Machida , Penn would be totally different fighters if they'd be as heavy as fedor. (Aprox 233 lbs)... They'd all be slower...they wouldn't have the same stamina.

No question, he's the greatest fighter in MMA history and that by a wide margin. He is virtually undefeated with nearly 1/3rd of his fights against UFC champions, 2 devastating wins against arguably the second best heavyweight in MMA history in Noguiera - how can this be a question? And this being a small heavyweight... The guy will turn 34 in a couple of months though and there are signs that he is slowing down in his recent fights, so he will ultimately lose as he heavily relies on his speed due to his size (I even think probably sooner than later). I could imagine this could happen if he fights Overeem for example. But when he loses I see all those revisionists declaring that he wasn't all that good and questioning his career... some people are just stupid.

The UFC probably only have themselves to blame for Fedor being able to fight outside of the UFC and be considered the best. They keep cutting good fighters who he fights and destroys.

Sylvia - they let him go and Fedor fought and raped him.
Arlovski - they let him go and Fedor fought and raped him.
Werdum - they let him go and Fedor is fighting him next.

All legit top 10 fighters at the stage Fedor is fighting them.

  12. Fedor has beaten 40% of UFCs heavyweight champions.

Fedor is really a LHW fighter who fight as a chubby HW and who decimates SHW and giants weighing over 150lbs more and standing head and shoulder above him.

  13. P4P best.

P4P is not scientific or anything and we have some great fighters around right now. But watch his career and you decide. :yep

    The Last Emperor

or in the words of James Toney "The White Emperor"

Toney goes on to call Tyson a "Female" and Fedor "1 dimensional". Mercer has some good input, words of knowledge.

Mercer had good input because he actually been there and trained that.
    Toney talks the talk.
