I choked on my damn coffee. :rofl Every single thing you said is wrong. 1. Fedor would beat the crap out of Silva 2. Rogers didnt break Fedors nose he cut it. 3. Fedor won round one. 4. Shut the **** up you idiot.
Haha, are you serious? So, just because a fighter puts up a good effort in a fight makes it ok to disrespect people? That's like saying I can call you a Cocksucker, **** on your face, and cop a feel on your lady as long as I agree to entertain your kids as a party clown. Nick Diaz is not fighting to satisfy YOU or anyone else. He does it to put food/weed on his table and/or for other types of personal gain. Diaz is a druggy, a childish thug, and does not respect the fans who put money in his pocket. And he's just a mediocre fighter. I mean I can understand his huge fanbase if he was as dominant as Silva. But damn. His loyal fanbase is one of the biggest anomalies in the fight game today. Silva may be a clown but nobody has come even close to beating him in the UFC. That alone should earn himself more respect than Diaz's immature, drug-policy-disrespecting ways.
If you will excuse me for rolling in a hand grenade. but could it be said, that if someone wants guaranteed entertainment they should watch WWE wrestling. I know that's a cheap shot, but I worry that the UFC is becoming a little bit dodgy, a bit unequal or unfair. What I'm saying is that it seems as if Dana is solely responsible for picking fights. and for me there's a question mark as to whether there is favouritism. Is it the case that fighter that loses who he doesn't like, may not get a chance to fight again, but his favourites can come back to fight time and time again. For me Dana is definitely a good guy, who wants to see good and entertaining fights for the fans. but what happens if he ever leaves. Promising fighters do get title shots, but as far as I know there is no mandatory system whereby a fighter can become a legitimate challenger and has a personal ranking. Long story short, if Dana keeps going on about the silva he could end up shooting himself in the foot, because people are going to start asking awkward questions about how fights are chosen and whether it is fair.
I hit the nail on the head with this post, that much is obvious: We are fundamentally in agreement on the issue anyway, so I don't know why you are giving me the old monosyllabic retort treatment. Silva was an *******. I'd love to see him try that clowning with Vitor Belfort next.
It could be said if you are being ridiculous. I am sure a shitload of MMA fans couldn't stomach watching a full episode of WWE (I personally don't care for it at all.) The UFC's matchmaking system (One dude, Joe Silva, picking the fights) is vastly superior to any boxing promoters matchmaking as of now and if it aint broke don't fix it. Yes, it is the case that fighters that lose who fans don't like get cut and some fighters that lose that fans love get to stay. I mean, Arturo Gatti got to fight Floyd Mayweather right? Oscar De La Hoya headlined huge cards way past his prime. There is no reason that entertaining losers shouldn't get better treatment than boring losers, am I wrong? Also, yeah, it is harder for less entertaining fighters to get title shots sure, but if they are good enough they can do it. Think Machida and Brock Lesnar. When it comes down to it the sport is about fighting and it is about finishing your opponent. Early UFCs had no time limit because the only way to know FOR SURE who the better fighter is is to wait until one of the guys is finished. Even though no time limit matches don't exist anymore, the spirit of the sport is to finish fights, fans appreciate finishers, finishers make more money... It is disrespectful to the sport to not attempt to finish the fight when you can win easily.
Not even that, Alex (Fedors brother) was the one that punched Fedor and did the damage. The cut wasnt properly healed, Rogers simply reopened an existing cut.
he should try to bring fedor, because if fedor fight not worthy opponents, we all know what happen, he destroys them so bad, and it takes no longer then a minute. THE LAST EMPEROR rulezzz
Props for what? Cause he see's $$$$$$$ is going to be lost cause of this, thats why he's really pissed.
Okay fair point about WWE, it was a stupid thing of me to say. I agree that the matchmaking isn't too bad at the moment though it's hard to understand why GSP did not fight Koschek (excuse the spelling) rather than Dan Hardy any good. other than the fact he does not get on with Dana. Your point about the popular boxers is well made, but despite all its corruption and multitude of belts. It has a huge advantage of that there are multiple players in the industry. So a disgruntled fighter can join another organisation and do some serious trash talking in order to force a fight with an opponent. That combined with boxing rankings system, does give a legitimacy to a challenger. In the UFC it's basically a dictatorship, a single organisation running everything. At the moment we have a great dictator, but if things go wrong they won't be anything anyone can do. It worries me that it's not a fair and open system. And if it's not fair and open it may not have much of a future. There desperately needs to be some other MMA organisations that can agree the rules and fight between each other. It would make things fantastic. or at least a clear ranking structure whereby fighters graded in accordance with their performance, or for there to be a clear elimination process to fight the champion. With the option of a few wild card entries.
Yes that is partly true. Though you mustnt forget Dana has continuely said Silva(Not fedor) is the p4p numero uno.Dana has always been very vocal about that. Dana's taking Silva's at times lucklustre performances as a personally insult. Guess i cant blame him. When i put in a **** day or bludge at work i get blown up by my boss..And im not getting 6-7 figure sums to do so.
Calling Nick Diaz a mediocre fighter just be proof enough you havent got a clue on what the hell you are talking about. BJJ Blackbelt under Cesar Gracie, held a WEC title, current Strikeforce Champion. Diaz choked out the Pride Lightweight Champion Takanori Gomi while Gomi was in his prime, beat the hell out of Scott Smith and Frank Shamrock a full weight class above his natural weight, KOed Marius Zaromskis and Robbie Lawler, dominated good fighters like Drew Fickett, Josh Neer and Gleison Tibau. Noboddy has ever dominated him in MMA NOBODDY. Diaz has won 11 out of 12 clearly hes doing alright. The guy gives a couple middle fingers so what  Id rather see a guy give a middle finger and then take place in a classic fight rather then some guy dance his way to the ring then dance and clown and act retarted in the ring in nearly every fight. Just because Anderson likes to counter doesnt mean he cant start exchanges when the other guy refuses. People shell out 50 dollars usually to see his fight so the deserve alittle ****ing entertainment. Without the fans MMA fighters even the highest level would be fighting in some rinky dink cage put together in your local bar for drunk people to bet on.
