Very hard fight to pick.

Henderson has to have the edge, but Jake is a very, very live "underdog". I'd give Henderson a 3:2 edge.

Short Answer: Dan Henderson.

 

Hendo, Jake has the worst stand-up out of any MMA fighter fighting today. He looks like a complete *** trying to throw a punch. If he tries to stand with Hendo he is gonna die before his body hits the floor.

 

I have a real strange feeling Shields is going to get his back and finish him

 

Shields doesn't get appreciated and his run is really underrated. However everyone, including the fighters, seem to think that Henderson has the better striking and top game while Shields will look to get him on his back because that is where he is weak.

Shields working the pads is AWFUL. With Hendersons power and chin, it can always end badly if you leave it standing.

 

Sheilds on the ground is a live dog. His BJJ is very good.

On the feet, Jake does not have a hope in hell...

I think Dan is going to KO him.

i got that feeling too sadly, At 39 how much does Henderson really have left?

i hope Hendo pulls a Bisping on Shields but realistically i see this fight as a 50/50

 

Man i hope not.Purely for Shields health.I dont dislike him enough to cop anything like what happened in the Bisping fight.

 

I don't think age applies to Hendo as it normally does to most athletes.

 

This cannot end well for Shields. He would need the equivalent of a Serra/GSP type miracle to pull out this fight! Hendo wins by vicious GnP battering. I will be surprised if Shields makes it to the final bell.
