To have success as a sportmen in Germany you don´t need much. You must be decent to good in what you are doing - it does not matter if you are exciting or boring - you must be respectful, humble and nice. If you can speak a bit German it makes your success a lock.
Look at Valuev, Chagaev, the Klitschkos. They all are big here because they have all this. Other very good fighters like Dzinziruk just don´t want to learn German and seem less likable and thus they have far less success if any.

Let's keep that quote on 'less racism' instead of 'don't have racism' embedded in their society. :good

But I think it has a lot to do with their personalities, next to their boxing skills. It's also not only Germany, but a big portion of Europe where they are seen as real dominant HW's.

The Krauts follow anyone who says they love lederhosen.

Valueve speaks German? Pardon my ignorance, but I didn't even know the guy could speak. I thought he communicated though a series of grunts and scratches.

    wtf

Most Klitschko fans are borderline white supremacists. At least thats the impression I get from the internet.

Then you're a borderline idiot to be labeling people so broadly. Polymath? Yeah right!

Because their own "master race" can't produce a heavyweight. :D

I don't think it should be a 'überraschung' that he talks about WW II ;)

Apparently the German audience likes a good Heavyweight who fights any challenge & usually wins by KO. Wladimir & Vitali are also respectful enough to learn the language & culture.

This is spot on! He's a great role model for the younger generations too.
