His pre-fight and weigh in pics are starting to worry me now. He has the same look AA had before he gave up trying to make the weight.

 

Yeah there was even a thread made about him and his camp considering moving up. I thought he would move up soon anyways because 168 is where it's at.

He should move up if he really is that confident instead of killing his big body to make 160. They know he really isn't that special and that's why they are sitting there at 160 still. I never said anything about little guys coming up. People move up all the time to challenge people. There is just nobody at 160 besides sturm who is just as good a ducker.

If his promoter wouldn't have blatantly ducked abraham then we wouldn't even be talking about this stuff.

It's about him not fighting the best fighters. Nobody is in kelly's league at 160. At 168 there are alot of tough fights and his team knows that and they aren't very confident. They were confident against hopkins prior to the fight saying Pavlik will knock hopkins out. After hopkins exposed him his team had an epiphany about the fighter they had and the tough bouts that would result from this exposure. So they don't want to fight a fighter who is physically strong enough and technically able to do what hopkins did to pavlik. They know what they are doing and they aren't very confident anymore either. After the hopkins fight, everyone said pavlik would go back down and hide at 160 without fighting anyone and that's what he did.

 

I'd love to see KP in against Ward, Bute, and Dirrell. I'd still like to see him fight AA too.

 

Again? He already got his butt kicked I just think people want to see him die. No way he's mentally prepared after all that "plaster de paris" mess. Pavlik beats him worst than Mosley did.

 

Pavlik chased Winky Wright for years beginning in 2004. He fought Miranda and Taylor when both were at their peak, and he fought Hopkins.

i hear ya. there was a thread on here matching the two up w/ a lot of people saying it would be just desserts for margo to get straight mollywhopped by pav. but yes, margo would leave in very bad shape if he fought kelly.

 

Like he'll fight again in 2010.


Seriously....a fall 2010 "big" fight for him would make sense but who is that "big" opponent at middle?
