So the difference between being in fine shop and being an 'anorexic zombie' is two pounds? Utter nonsense.

Yes the fight should have been at 147, but really would it have made a difference? very unlikely imo.

I'm tired of all these Arum in-house fights. Let him fight PBF-Mosley winner Bradley or Alexander or retire.

No its one pound accourding to him because Cotto came in at 146 against Clottey and 145 against Pac.

it's a shitty match but i'd rather see cotto fight pac than an undeserving margo. i don't blame steward for calling for a rematch. he's just being confident and that's great. but team pac needs to man up and start throwing out names like bradley, alexander, berto, cintron, williams. definitely not margarito! hell if they are going to get that ridiculous might as well have gamboa fight pac.

    Agreed.

If he wins impressivly he should fight people like Angulo, Alcine, Martirosyan, maybe Dzinziruk.

Oh yes he does. A large number of people actually think he's guilty. People were confronting him asking about drug use or insinuating that they feel he's juicing. That's the very reason why he is suing the Mayweathers. If he took and passed the tests then it would most likely end all doubts which I don't know why he wouldn't want that, but whatever.

Sure, you can blame Sr all you want. But what's done is done. And Pac needs to get rid of the stain.

Cotto has to earn a return with Pacquiao, and beating Foreman is not enough. Cotto has to beat top guys, and not just one. If he beats Foreman then Berto, then maybe he will be ready, but I doubt even that is sufficient. He needs to get himself on a solid, confidence-boosting run again. Foreman, Berto, and another good win could do it - but Cotto would need to look damn good in those fights to make anyone think there was any point to a rematch, because Pacman really took him apart last time.

Basically, I can't see this happening at all. I'd rather see Cotto vs Margarito II, give Miguel the chance to fairly avenge his loss (which I believe was achieved by illegal wraps).

Thats what he has been telling us in camp. Thinks PBF wants NO PART of pac... to much risk and thats why the drug tests came up to force a pullout

I never thought about it before, but it makes sense. After Mayweather/Mosley outsells Pac/Clottey, PBF will demand the lion's share of the purse and Pac will walk away. Or Mosley pulls the upset and they rematch. Either way, Pac is free and Cotto is the biggest name in his weight class left standing.

The fight wasn't competitive enough. I can't see Cotto doing much better.

The first four rounds were good but he took an ass whipping. And getting on his bike didnt help his case for a rematch. Cotto should just move on and concentrate on the JMW division. Id rather see him against Angulo,P Dub, Kirkland or Martinez (if he loses on saturday).

Yeah because losing one pound makes you anorexic.
