I actually train in San Da in NYC. Where are the schools in the South of England? I'm surprised there are any at all in the UK, San Da seems pretty small, surprisingly, in popularity?
Yeah? nice one. the schools are, the UK shaolin temple in london, and ive heard there's somewhere in bristol and leeds too. going to check out the one in leeds, though i'd rather train in london but its not possible right now. to be honest i dont think its a popularity thing as much as a lack of qualified instructors, unfortunately. Ive found a place in manchester that teaches 'splashing hands' too, which could also be worth a look. Do you compete?
No I don't compete, just train and spar with guys who do compete. Yeah, I agree with you, there aren't too many qualified instructors. I may go back to live in London in a few years, so good to know there is some San Da training there. There's actually quite a number of San Da schools here in NY - I train at New York San Da. I hope you find a good school !
