If you're not a Pacquiao fan yet, why not?

I'm a big fan of Pacquiao, but fighting Margarito will be INEXCUSABLE. There is NO WAY to justify that fight. It's in-fighting and a Bob Arum special, bottom line. I hope Roach steers Pacquiao away from that because he's said in the past Margarito should be banned for life.

    Mayweather or Mosley or bust.

First, let me say that I like boxing not "tough man contests". Two guys with limited footwork, granite chins, easily cut skin, and bleeding profusely ain't boxing". I know I will get crucified for this, but knowing what we know about boxing and brain damage, Gatti/Ward is more sad for me than "great".

Now, examine Pac's career as he became "the toast of the town". On the surface just hearing the name? Wow. What accomplishments, but when you just dig a little beneath the surface? It falls apart. You think Roach doesn't see this stuff?

Diaz - He was the guy to beat? Right.

ODLH - What top 10 or 15 WW would not have starched him in that state? Is Danny Green a world beater for banging out RJJ? Did Hatton become one for dismantling Castillo?

Hatton - Seriously? This guys claim to fame was a HORRIBLE fight against an old Tzyu and... getting KTFO by Mayweather. Seriously, who was he? Collazo beat him. So he was a limited fighter with a busted fight camp. He stuck to script and was KTFO.

Cotto - Seriously? He was gifted Clottey's belt for the PR Day Parade. He was a shell of himself. Then when you contrast this with Mosley being "free". Huh? Then when you look at his busted camp and trainer? Wow. (Mind you this gifted belt and busted camp is where he got his belt!)

Clottey - The fight was moved to Texas and the TSAC said there was no need to drug test. Huh? After that huge PED tiff? Anyway... Clottey said he was sick. Not Manny's fault. He threw NO punches and somehow got a $1.5 million dollar "bonus". Huh? For what?!?

Margarito - The next opponent? WTF?!?

    ---
This list of opponents makes him a "force to be wreckoned with"? It reads like a Top Rank or "he used to be..." roster.

    Then...
    ---

Nate Campbell - I mention him because of his off color comments. Manny had a great excuse before. Now Manny is all the way up at WW and... Nothing. Not one prime boxer. How long can this go on before people wake up?

    ---

Keep throwing him in with flat footed come straight forward slow brawlers or shot guys with names and busted camps. Every time he gets a request to dance with a real slick fighter he sits down and lets Uncle Arum manipulate the press.

Yeah. The chicken **** doesn't ring true any more anyway, not now he's going up against Mosley. He may have been forced into it, but that's still a more dangerous fighter than anyone Pac's faced.

I'd love to know which university has a philosophy department that's teaching people that photoshop skills are equivalent to rational debate, too.

    ****ing moron.

Apart from the obvious nonsense you're spouting, which can be done for any fighter (Mayweather: Corrales was drained, Castillo beat him, De La Hoya was old, Hatton was a bum etc.) you are missing a huge part of Pacquiao's career. Before he beat any of those, he was an ATG.

Some fights were poor, yes, but you can't just swoop through his career writing every victory off. It's nonsense.

IDIOT notice I didn't mention the first damn 90% of his career! Why? I highly respect him for it. So there your BS notions fall apart. I wrote of Diaz on up. No more. No less.

Pac didn't become a mega-star off of that. He became a mega-star off of the crap fights that I listed. Before that he was looking over the hill. Like his blood and guts style had caught up to him. Coincidence?

I am not going to mention Mayweather because he isn't a part of this discussion. Jack you are an arse crack!

What are you talking about clown? I am talking about the Mosley fight were there was no blood testing and Mosley said he would do it at 143. Mosley was the right fight because he destroyed Marg who destroyed Cotto.

Why do you *******s keep bring Mayweather into this discussion?!?

I meant in reference to Pac/Mosley. That would have been the more relevant fight post-Cotto/Margarito. Pac ducked that fight and took on Cotto who showed the same signs of quitting versus Clottey.

Sad part is that the bum is Googling the pics.

I still like Pacquiao but I've cooled on him a bit the past couple of years.

Firstly because of his dumb ass "Pac-****" fanbase. Just no getting past this, they annoy me a lot.

Secondly, the steroid issue makes me suspicious. Nothing's been proven but the fight against Mayweather should have been made. I'm laying the fault at Pacquiao's door.

That being said i still watch every fight of his and find him entertaining.
