There's plenty of people giving him props for winning the belt.

I thought, considering his injury, he showed plenty of heart and maybe he got what he deserved in the end. I found the fight quite entertaining....I do feel a bit sorry for Sprott but I'm glad for Audley and I wish him the best for whatever comes up next.

People can say what they like but a motivated and fit Audley with the right game plan could cause a problem or two for the top guys in the division. He'd be unable to land it so easily, but that left which floored Sprott would have floored Haye and Wlad and maybe Vitali.

He should fight Dimitrenko next. Dispatch him (which he should manage) and he'll start to show up on the edge of the world title radar.

 

Audley will finally prove himself when he is fit again.

Great post - I completely agree with this. He has got the ability to cause problems for anyone.

And after the Sprott fight he might not be so scared of getting hit - what a difference that'd make?

I said along time ago, Audley Harrison is a winner. It takes allot of dedication/motivation to win a Olympic Gold Medal, they are not given away in Asada or Tesco......SORRY NO.

Audley Harrison is not only battling against the critics and the public, he's battling against athlete's greatest foe.......which is Time itself.

People say he lacks heart and determination..

But yet the man is persecuted and ridiculed like a modern day Christ. For having a dream, and having a ambition to be the Heavyweight Champion of the world......AND STILL HE WON'T LAY DOWN..!

And i for one respect that, most people soon give up on there life on their ambitions when the **** hits the fan. And they go on to having regular jobs, and earning a average wage. Most people reach this at a certain age in life..........

But then there is that minority, that don't accept and take "No i can't" for a anserw for a solution.

Thats what the world needs, that's what people need, and most importantly its what sport needs.
