I think Pavlik will be surprised at the one-punch power of Maravilla.

I think Hendo was talking about the "bow and arrow" thing JT used to do.

Actually it's correct. Even Bernard Hopkins knew of this and stated it pre and post fight after he was robbed. Taylor had speed, reflexes, and athleticism that got him to where he is, but his skills were never where they needed to be. He had a tendency to bow and arrow it all the time. When he lands it though, it is very effective, but the one that gets the best result is his overhand right.

you are right, he does pull his right back and throw it in a telegraphing manner sometimes. but he does toss it over the top of a left jab at times w/o that motion.

Not always which is what made it more dangerous as noted. Sometimes he would just snap it off without the 'tell'.

I also think Martinez will stun Pavlik with his one punch power. At about the same time a piano with a ****** playing it will jump out of Paul Williams ass.

I think I'm taking an "ESB Break" until the asylum has returned to normal and the inmates safely locked up. I can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading lately. Notice mickeyc hasn't posted much since saying, "Every time I log on I feel myself getting a little more stupid"? Maybe after I've had a chance to see the fight on Sunday I'll log back in. This stuff is just too much. You and Doobie are on your own. Sorry, have to watch out for my mental health. :nut

That's unfair. He beat the man twice in Taylor, beat Miranda, and has comprehensively beaten everyone he's been asked-to at middleweight. It's not really his fault that one of the blue riband divisions is going through a weak spell at the moment. The Williams fight fell through but, as much as I enjoy teasing the die-hard Pav-fans, that was a medical issue. Sure, he lost to that devious old ******* but it was well above his weight class and, quite frankly, who hasn't?

You could make a valid case that he hasn't got as good a resume as several other champions, but he wasn't 'gifted' the belts like several others, either; he earned them. 'Untested', 'unproven' and 'dubious' I could probably let slide, but 'undeserving'? ... :nononah.

If it's so easy to do, his belts are there for the taking, go and have a try.

You have some serious mental problems.

If you didn't spend 16 hours a day on here, maybe you wouldn't be so ate up with it.
