Why is Bute ranked #1 at SMW by Ring Magazine and Boxrec? Acctually, I think Edison Pantera Miranda is going to beat Bute.
Boxrec: computerised points system Ring: Because he's the only viable option that isn't currently contracted to Showtime, rivals of the Ring's owners TV partners. No, he's not.
Cause he's the Best Super MiddleWeight, thats why :smoke Btw - Bute Ko's the **** out of Miranda :deal Seriously though, I am excited about Miranda vs Bute, but given Miranda's track record vs Bute's, mixed with Bute's good ko ratio of his own, I just see Bute wearing Miranda down the tkoing him.
Because he has the best resume (at the moment) someone in the super 6 will overtake him due to better opposition.
Maybe because they see talent, he's undefeated and has a championship belt before Froch and Ward .. he has 4 title defenses Froch has 2 and Ward has 0.
Andre Dirrell is the best 168 pound fighter at this point. Anybody with 20/20 vision knows Dirrell clearly outboxed Froch over 12 rounds and he beat the undefeated Arthur Abraham. The Ring's rankings have went to **** as soon as Golden Boy bought them out. I mean, they have Floyd Mayweather Jr. listed as #2 P4P yet, they have him #3 at welterweight. Doesn't make much sense to me. They have Nonito Donaire ranked #5 P4P, SMH, 'nuff said.
Boxrec: It's just based on points. Bute has 4 victories over guys who were ranked in their top10 at the time he fought them (Bika, Berrio, Andrade x2). Ward has 1 (Kessler), Abraham has none at 168lbs (plus a defeat), Dirrell has 1 (Abraham) plus a defeat, Froch has 2-3 (Pascal, Taylor & Dirrell). Ring: Bute has 3 wins over fighters who were ranked in the Ring's top10 (Bika & Andrade x2). Froch has 1 (Taylor), Ward has 1 (Kessler), Abraham has 1 (not sure if Taylor was still ranked), Dirrell has one (Abraham). You get the drift.
