 So Judah wasnt a welterweight, even though he became king of the division and campaigning there for 6 years. Oscar wasnt a welterweight even though he campaigned all the way up to middleweight and had true power. The same Oscar who stopped Mayorga like it was nothing, the same Mayorga that was maybe a round or 2 at best from beating Mosley before the last second KO.

Muh huh. I think you'll find that most fighters do not start in the weight class that they end up at

Shane's punching power is being overrated a little in this fight. I think the question is how will the Shane who lost to Cotto do against the Mayweather who stuggled a little with Judah. It looks like Mayweather will be a little faster than Shane. For Shane to win he is going to have to win a decision maybe, and I am not sure he can.

Shane Mosley is no dumb dumb. He respects Floyd. He knows Floyd is the truth. Floyd don't have to make Shane do anything, the respect is already there. Shane ain't never fought anybody like Money May.

At lightweight, Floyd had 4 fights and 1 stoppage. In fact, in his 4th fight at LW, Merchant remarked that Floyd simpy wasn't much of a puncher at LW. Two rounds later, he knocked his opponent out.

Floyd's style will cause more frustration in Shane than anything, imo.

That's incorrect. It was one shot that put Hatton down the first time. The second time Hatton went down, was off of two clean left hooks that landed smack on his temple. That was not an accumulation stoppage.

Mosley is going to respect him cause no matter how strong a person is if he hits you on the button then your ass is out. Floyd ko Hatton, kd Marquez in the 2nd round, and baldomir was cut in the first round. If he does any of the 3 to Mosley then that equals another W.

When anyone steps in the ring with Mayweather...it's not his power or the pop on his shots that get his opponents respect, it's the fact that he makes you miss then punishes you. Whether you may believe he doesn't carry the power or not to gain Mosley's respect is irrelevant. Mosley is the same as every human being, if you get hit or hurt enough trying out something, you will automatically try something different which will maybe allow you to not get hit or hurt as much.
This is what wins Mayweather the bout for me along with his footwork. His ring IQ is second to none, I see Mosley and Richardson eventually running out of ideas in trying to land on Mayweather. Whereas, Mayweather always seems to find a way of exploiting his opponents weaknesses, and if needed changing his own gameplan drastically during a bout.

Mayweather has more than enough pop, to make Mosley think twice about just fighting wrecklessly.

Your video post actually shows and old DLH and part time fighter WALKING THRU his opponents punches. DLH is never actually hurt. He is knocked off balance but he isn't hurt.

And if you think that at any point in Shane's fight with Mayweather that his punches will be that slow and wide, and flailing then sure I will take you up on that ban bet.

    Hatton isn't durable.

    Marquez is a freaking featherweight.

Baldomir had been cut in several prior fights and is a walking punching bag.

    He can't hurt Shane.....period!

Didn't he fight Oscar at 154? So he has fought someone as big as, even bigger than Shane.

To answer your question Floyd Doesn't have devastating or overwhelming power but he has enough to get people's attention or what I like to call back the **** up off me power.
