He said nothing other than he didn't quite feel right (and he actually credited Hopkins "movement" with having confused him). 6:35

No, nobody from Team Pavlik said that. It was Thomas Hauser several days afterwards.

    Kessler on Ward:
Immediately after the fight: "He was the better man tonight"
And there after: "Ward's a dirty fighter"

If I remember rightly, De La Hoya blamed the first loss to Mosley on eating a bad batch of oysters the day before.

It's sort of annoying that boxers have to justify losses as if they aren't capable of losing.

I respect a fighter who loses and handles it well way more than I ever respect a fighter who makes 30 excuses for a loss.

When tyson admitted Douglas whipped his ass, he went up 10 fold in my book.

When Zab Judah lost to Baldomir I think I remember him blaming Don King for the loss for being a "shady/corrupt" character or something along those lines.

    Lewis' is better than Clottey's.

"I preferred to lose the fight than mess up myself in front of all those people. Everyone saw that I was beating the hell out of Dalton. I was trying to hold in this stuff but in the seventh round I couldn't no more so I decided to quit. I can live with what I did,"

"I was focused and well prepared for the fight. I was beating him at will. He knows it too. But then this thing came on. I was still beating him but had to concentrate or else I would have messed myself."

"I'm disappointed and I guess that my fans are disappointed also but unless you were in my situation you wouldn't know what I went through."
