When have you seen anyone arguably with the exception of Baldo just walk through his shots? Oscar didn't just walk through them and he has an iron chin. Dumb thread really. PBF's will hurt you and make you respect his power because he's the most accurate puncher in the game and he will hit you with shots you don't see. If you think Shane will simply walk through PBF's shots like nothing you're a fool.

Mosley loves to get hit because if your hitting him your close enough for him to hit you. Its going to be Floyd ability to throw his shots at the right time to disrupt his rythem is going to slow shane down. As shane gets fustrated he will get tired and careless the punches hurt when your tired and fustrated watch how the fight unfolds in round 8

Floyd doesn't step in with his jab, kinda touches him there and steps back to wait for another opportunity to half step in again. The two punches Floyd throws his body weight with are the short lead left hook he knocked down JMM with and the right hand whip/cobra like lead shot ( pushes back with the left elbow-forearm to get back in position whenever he doesn't land solid). Shane is no JMM to get hit with a short left hook cause he's actually advantaged in reach and he is no Arturo Gatti to lead with his head first and prepared to hook first. Floyd will get timed here and there with big right hands and more powerful left hooks and I long expect for his reaction to that cause I don't believe he can be at ease taking and giving as much.

Paulie Malignaggi explained it best: a punch is a punch, no matter who it's coming from. Nobody likes getting hit in the face, which is why even feather-fisted fighters can win fights without getting bum-rushed. Floyd has at least average power, so opponents respect his punching.

It should be all the way around. Floyd has no respect for anybody. The real question
should be: can Shane make floyd respect him ?

What does this fight have to do with Mosley vs. Floyd? Boxing fans already know Oscar has not aged like Mosley has and didn't have the speed to hang with Floyd or the stamina. That won't be the case with Mosley.

I admit Floyd is deadly accurate, but like I said Mosley aged alot better than Oscar and is going to fight a much smarter fight. I wouldn't rule out a draw. I think this fight is going to be closer than alot of people think.

Oscar was only 34 in that fight. He hadn't aged, he just got outboxed. Mayweather countered his sweeping left hooks, with short right hands and almost dropped him.

The first time Floyd counters Shane with a flush lead right whic, will be about 45 seconds into the fight, Shane will respect it 'cuz he ain't gonna check it!
