Haye has good handspeed with single shots, particularly his right hand counter.

His combination punching is not that fast nor that fluid either.

he is fast. cant take that away from him . for his size- he might be the fastest athlete since ali. speed dont mean **** without timing though.

As long as Haye keeps boxing against guys like Valuev and Ruiz he will look fast as lightning.

Anybody thrilled for the Valuev rematch?

Was still fast enough to tag Ruiz in round 9, fast enough to whack Valuev in round 12 with a punch he did not see coming. His reactions are pretty good, if you look at his accuracy and shots thrown/landed in fights is more than decent. You just blew this up out of hot air.

Who cares anyway, regardless of the fact that he may or may not be the quickest since Ali, the guy is the quickest heavy around at the moment, who has done something of note.

Ibragimov??????????? Chambers I can see, but Ibragimov?? man, you people are clutching at straws now. Accept it, Haye is one of the, if not THE fastest Heavyweights out there. Forget the comparison with Ali, but c'mon, how can you argue the toss, and start throwing Roy Jones (Light heavy/cruiser) and Sultan Ibragimov in to the mix.

Haye is amazingly fast... at avoiding fighting the Klits.

I think I heard a sonic boom when he started running from the fight.

Yeah, Chambers looks like lightening with his fat arse sat against the ropes. Jesus, just because his nickname is 'Fast' it doesn't make it so, he really is not quick and certainly not as quick as Haye.
