Martinez looked amped.

 

He looked even more amped for Williams.

The video that Mundial did isn't as good as the Top Rank live stream was. It's a different camera angle, so you can't see some of the details. At one point when Martinez was trying to get in Pav's face, KP blew him a kissatsch

pavlik is hype. martinez will probably be too good for him. too good of a footwork and puts his punches together well.

 

Martinez is up for this, but he really has a tall order in front of him, literally. Sergio still giving up height with shoes on, while Kelly was barefoot during the staredown.

Both guys look as prepared as can be expected. Not too much longer before fight time. Once Kelly rehydrates, it'll be a different story. We'll see how it goes down soon.

 

size is nothing when you got the timing over your opponent, which martinez showed against williams. pavlik is overrated. he has a very good right hand, but his defense is shockingly bad, and you might see a case of that again against martinez when martinez shows the superior footwork and combinations. the only worry is for martinez is too watch out for that right hand, because he does have his hands low, but all in all, i expect him to be the better out of the two.
