Anyone have any Jimmy Young fights?

You Tube needs more Jimmy Young fights...at least the Lyle fights.

Does footage of Young-Lyle even exist? (It seems incredible in that day and age that their rematch might not have been recorded, but then again, we only have Lyle-Shavers thanks to a single venue camera filming for archival purposes.)

I had a copy of his fight with Greg Page, but it's lost now.

 

I know it sounds weird, but Jimmy Young is one of my favorite fighters. I enjoy watching him at work, doing his thing, even if it's a suck fight like this near the end of his career.

I also have film of an overweight Jimmy Young fighting a fit prospect Wendall Bailey. Young overwhelmed and knocked out Bailey in 3 rounds, displaying impressive strength and ability to fight in close, even if he was grossly out of shape, as well as Young vs Dokes where an out of shape Young was able to make Dokes look bad in a foul-filled mess of a fight.

 

Not weird at all. At his best he's a headache for just about any heavyweight. I am a fan of too many fighters to have favorites.

I also have the Dokes match... Along with Young beating up some tomato can tucked away somewhere. Might have some other stuff as well, I'd have to look.

 

I`ve got the second Lyle/Young fight complete, the quality is not that great however but quite watchable nonetheless, was a decent scrap too going on memory.

 

Wow, that tribute was cool! I love Young, a pleasure to watch. I'd love to see more of his fights. Definatly , my favorite boxer.
