I'm not a Bute fan in the least , but, Miranda has NO CHANCE against him. The only quality win Miranda has is against Allan Green and I can overlook that for Green's sake. I'm pretty sure Green would win a rematch. Most of you will say Miranda being a big puncher does have a chance. Seriously? I don't think so.

If only Miranda had a decent jab cause he has the reach advantage but he's never even used that as an advantage in any previous fights.

No matter what Goossen taught Miranda, if Bute stays focused on what he has to do as the rounds go by, Miranda will instinctively fall back into what he always was...a fighter constantly looking for a big right hand. At that point, Bute should take him apart...

Yes. Miranda has no chance against the guy who got knocked out by Librado Andrade.

Miranda has a great chance. It will be a closer fight than you could possibly think. Goossen is really a genius and highly underrated as a trainer. If he brings what he has been doing in the gym into the ring, he has a very good chance of pulling the upset.

Miranda does have a chance, but not a great chance. It would not only be an upset if Miranda won (and he'd have to be better than ever to win)... it would be a one-off (Bute would win the rematch almost certainly).

Miranda has a 10-15% chance of winning in my view, no more.

You say that, but I gave the following odds against Bute, in the past:

Bika 45% (didn't know how good Bute was and Bika was proven) - close fight - BANG ON!
    Andrade I 50% - 50/50 fight - BANG ON!
Zuniga 30% (I didn't know how Bute would respond after Andrade I) - got this one wrong... Zuniga didn't even get close. Zuniga's chances were really only about 5-10%.
Andrade II 55% - underrated Bute but even so, I thought the fight would have been very close had Bute not ended the show there and then - so, even in hindsight, I don't think Andrade's chance was less than 45%

I think I was about right in all cases, except for Zuniga, where I overrated Zuniga and underrated Bute. I think Miranda is better than Zuniga and more dangerous, so I don't think 10-15% is too generous. On the other hand, I don't think Miranda has more than a 15% chance either. This is Bute's fight to lose.

With that logic I suppose you think Meldrick Taylor beat Chavez?

I am not sure who made you the odds maker, but your guess is as good as anyone I suppose. Where I completely disagree with you is the last sentence. This is Miranda's fight to win. Bute has claimed his training and preparation for this fight were top notch. There are no excuses for Bute. Miranda is the one who is given little chance by many to win. It is his night to shine. If he wins it is because he deserved the win, not because Bute lost.

Every time I picked Bute to win, he won.

Every time you picked Miranda to win, he lost.

Let's see if both of us can maintain our 100% record intact.

I don't think he will win, but good punchers ALWAYS have a chance.

I'm going with Miranda......by KO. In a fight that Bute is controling. Do I believe myself about this outcome.....yes! But I won't be surprised in the least bit if Bute wins the decision in a pretty one sided fight. I'm going out on a limb b/c I believe Edision has a bigger future that he's destined for. His story is pretty incredible and to say the least he's had a very happy ending thus far, but I think he just might have a kind of chemistry with Goosen that could rival that of Manny and Roach. Where the **** are the tissues...:|

His story is very touching. His transformation, from a trash-talking, arrogant, illdisciplined fighter to a modest, dedicated, gracious fighter is also very positive. I don't think many neutral fans would be unhappy if Miranda won - he has transformed himself into the kind of person you can root for, even against someone like Bute. Maybe Goosen will have made a big change. Maybe Miranda will win... in which case he deserves a lot of praise.

But Bute also acts and thinks like a man destined for great things. He has the right attitude to win. He hasn't overcome the kind of disadvantage that Miranda has, but he has not had it that easy either. Those who know Bute, the man, can root for him even against the new Miranda with a happy conscience, because Bute is a good man and an example to his people of what a person should be like. :good

So, may the best man win!
