If Calzaghe comes out of retirement and have proper training and fought today's Hopkins (based on his last performance against RJJ) again, how well would he do against today Hopkins? :?

Calzaghe would lose. That was when the rematch was still a realistic option. Now it's just a bad subject for a thread.

Calzaghe will never come back so pointless thread.

He would have won a clear UD if there had been a rematch though.

    Very good

I go with Calzaghe by convincing UD or Hopkins by DQ after being butt ****ed again or convincing the judges of a low blow after improving his acting skills.

Calzaghe beat him the first time around and Hopkins looked very winded at the end of the fight. Hopkins is only older and his legs are more gone than before.

Calzaghe would likely beat him by another decision, but this time it would be wider.

Calzaghe would beat him easier. Calzaghe wouldve beat Hopkins at any time, a shame not years earlier.

Hopkins is a putz. Glad he believes he got his revenge, but the fact is he didn't beat Roy Jones Jr., he beat Roy Jones Sr. No matter how much of a self-promoter he is, BHop will always be 2nd best.

Who cares? It would be more, or just as pointless than Hopkins-Jones II, not to mention these ridiculous Tyson-Holyfield III rumors I've been hearing about...

Calzaghe is NOT coming back so it's a pointlessly moot point.

Had they had an immediate rematch, Hops would have gotten a much worse beating in the rematch.

Any rematch would have been in the UK, with UK or neutral officials.

Calzaghe beat him in the US with an American ref and three American judges.

He took three or four rounds to adjust to the higher weight and to figure Bernard out.

A rematch with Jermain didn't help Hopkins any, and Joe's confidence would have made the rematch very one-sided.

Calzaghe would never let a black boy beat him.
