How the heck does Martinez get a 'close decision' against a TR cash cow when he literally had to knockout Cintron to get a draw.

No way he'll get the nod if it goes the distance unless he wins every minute of every round and completely dominates Mr Staph (even then they might job him) Or he KO's Pavlik which is very unlikely.

Unfortunately Sergio will be fighting Pavlik and the judges in this fight.

Watching Pavlik-Espino and the left hook is landing for Espino. Sergio can catch him with that looping southpaw left :hey

 Espino stood toe to toe with him :patsch
Sergio will be using more movement. I'm not at all confident in my pick tbh.

Martinez will lose the middle rounds, same as with Williams - but he won't be getting hit by PW's feather-dusters, it'll be Kelly's bricks.

I think Martinez will lead into round 5, probably 4-1 or something before Pavlik's bodywork slows him down. Martinez's success will depend on whether he stands and trades or can land something to keep Pavlik off him.

If Kelly does what I think he will, that middle round beating will lead to either a tenth round stoppage or to a 7-5 win for Pavlik.

I'm with you mate. I'm a big fan of Martinez but I have real fear that Pavlik will catch up with him for a late round stoppage.

Martinez was stopped in 7 rounds by Antonio Margarito so I doubt he can last the distance against Pavlik who is basically a bigger, harder hitting version of Margarito.

Martinez outboxes Pavlik..........for a while. Then he gets stopped.
