He owns a strap in one of the deepest divisions in boxing and I've never seen him fight. Anyone seen him? If so, where would you rank him in the WW picture?
Sadly enough I had never even heard of him until I watched Berto vs. Quintana. Probably because I haven't had time to watch boxing as closely as of late, but still, you'd think he would get a bit more exposure given the circumstances. Or maybe I am just not paying close enough attention?:huh
Don't think it's you, to the best of my knowledge he's never fought on American television, or if he has it was ages ago before he was a "name," which I guess he might not even be now. I only learned about him a few months back by reading that he had lifted the IBF strap off of Isaac Hlatshwayo.
He's not very good. I think Saul Alvarez should take his belt, because it'd be good for him, and the IBF rankings aren't terribly deep either.
Haven't seen enough of him to really assess his quality. Seems like a decent enough fighter who made the most of his opportunity when he got it, but doesn't hit me as a threat to knock off much, if any, of the top 10 at 147.
well he beat the south African guy and he was a top 10 guy. So he must have some world class ability, he is not in mosley, mayweather, berto league
