As for Mir..."early" in his career. Of course that's just my personal opinion. But as far as i'm concerned...the guy has and always been overrated like no other. Exposed in 2002 against Ian Freeman. What Lesnar did in 2009 was already achieved by the much smaller Freeman , in less than 5 minutes.

Mir never was able to handle any pressure. All his best submissions were against the likes of Abbott , Williams & Sylvia. He gained a temp "bad ass" aura back in 2004 after breaking Sylvia's arm...Then he was absent from the scene for about 2 years or so (when arlovski replaced him)...I think it was because of a motorcycle accident...

But there was nothing extraordinary with his comeback. Owned by Cruz & Vera in the first...Almost owned by Lesnar but thankfully saved by the ref...(i wasn't shocked by his loss in the rematch)

Ever since the Ian Freeman incident i personally always thought this guy was too inconsistent.

 

Obviously, but if the ref hadn't ****ed up HUGELY, then the odds are enormously in Nelson's favor to win that fight.

And Soko is about to slip to 3rd tier fighter, yes he is not that good.

Third not only did Soko threw Moussai down but he remarkably stayed on top of him for a while. Soku doesnt do that.
