    5-3 pavlik plus a knockdown. Pavlik jab is starting to land more and more now. Martinez opened up a bit that round but Pavlik jab is getting there over and over.

    Martinez takes the round, throwing more, moving again, making Pavlik miss most of his punches. Pavlik started closing in late though. Pavlik's jab only really effective when he's countering Martinez' jab or straight left.

    Don't think he adapted so much as Martinez gassed a bit. I kinde expected it, but not quite as early.
