Maravilla deserves all his props for this show of guts, heart, and skill tonight. I am so glad to see him get his due, even though I was never 100% sure he could pull this off.

Now he can sit back and decide which of his titles to defend -- 154 or 160. A couple of fights ago, he was getting robbed of legit KO's and UD's in the same fight.

This man got his due finally and how sweet it must be. Well deserved, Sergio. A big money fight better be next for him.

Tremendous performance by Martinez. Exciting to have such a talented guy on top.

 

Martinez did what he wanted at the start of the fight then pavlik made a stand and began to land, knocked down martinez and looked to be turning it on.
Pavlik must have forgotten that he was fighting another world champion, one that wasn't about to break. Martinez took him apart towards the end the fight as he bloodied him up, had him staggered and was relentless in his "pizza facing" of pavlik.

Ghost well and truly busted.
