Donaire KO6 Darchinyan is a million times better than Dawson UD Adamek!!!

There was a thread here that question why Dawson is ranked lower p4p that the filipino flash, i think the thread title is the best explanation for this.

We noticed how darchinyan and Adamek went on to be universally recognized champion on higher weights after their losses.

Donaire is very underrated here just like any other fighters in lower divisions

Dawson doesn't want to move up and stretch his talent to its full potential. Donaire has more heart and has better ability that dawson

 

forget tarver. he was no where near his best. Just watch the fight and you would notice that tarver is a shell of his old self and the boxing fans knows it that why dawson is the heavy favorite in their first fight and a consensus unnecessary rematch.

As for johnson, well, dawson is the naturally bigger fighter yet he did not dominate johnson

I agree, but I disagree with the underlined, terrible style and techniques.

 

Donaire gets too much love. Especially from south-east asian fanbois.

He has one good win on his record, and that was years ago.

I have a lot of respect for his skills, but his resume sucks balls. He doesn't belong on any P4P list based on his limited achievements. Was Douglas a P4P fighter cause he beat Tyson?
You could put him in the P4P based on potential, but unless he starts actually demonstrating it in the ring against top fighters, he wont be able to be ranked.

Dawson has beat a lot more credible fighters then Donaire has.

atschDonaire moved up 3 pounds. Dawson moving up means he's gonna fight guys 25 pounds bigger.

And yeah the Darchinyan win is better then anyone win on Dawson's resume but too bad that his only good win and it was what??? 3 years ago? Dawson has beatin Adamek and also Harding, Tarver and Johnson. And you say Dawson is bigger then Johnson??? Height wise yes but Johnson has been at 175 way longer then Dawson and they both started there careers at 160.

One thing I noticed about Donaire's record compared to Dawson's is, Nonito fighting boxers with less losses. I dunno if Ring Mag does give bigger credit to such accomplishment. I think Mthalane and Martinez are real good boxers and Nonito stopped both. One reason why there's no marquee name in Nonito's record after the Darchinyan drubbing because I think some were avoiding him or there's some kind of promotional and managerial problems.

Regarding Dawson, he's been fighting some known but old boxers. Yes he defeated Adamek but the way Adamek is tearing the heavyweight division, sooner or later I think Adamek will be rated higher P4P than Dawson. Chad should go up to cruiser or heavy if he wants more credits of his abilities.

Come on are some of you's really that ****in stupid?? Smarten up.

The jump from Light heavyweight to Cruiserweight is 25 ****ing pounds!!!!! And besides the jump from Cruiser to Heavy that is 17 pounds more then the highest jump in weigh classes(160-168.). Why should Dawson who makes weight easily and might even be able to make 168 make that big of a jump??? It makes no sense and its a dumb move an extra 25 pounds would slow him down a ton and thats his biggest asset.

 

Darchinayin is pound for pound better than Adamek skill (and or) resume wise? I'm not too sold on that. :huh
